eLearning Courses

Our eLearning (online) courses are an efficient, high-quality alternative to classroom-based training and allow us to meet our students’ diverse learning needs and address the demands of your busy schedules. Once an online key is assigned the student has up to a year to access the course. To purchase an eLearning course, please contact our office at 816-276-7863.

  • Once an online key is opened the student has up to a year to complete the course.
  • Once an online key is opened it is NON-REFUNDABLE
  • Once an online course is completed the student has 60 days to complete a face to face skills assessment with HeartTraining, LLC.
  • Face to face skills assessments can only be scheduled once an online course is complete.

Learn: Rapid Stemi ID $75.00

Description: This self-directed, online course prepares healthcare professionals to evaluate and assess patients with potential symptoms of myocardial infarction, interpret ECGs for signs of STEMI and activate a system of care for rapid reperfusion of an occluded coronary artery. No skills session is required to complete the course. Upon successful completion, students will receive a certificate of completion and will be eligible to apply for continuing education credits. Intended Audience: This course is for healthcare professionals who want to improve their STEMI recognition and assessment skills or for healthcare professionals that wish to obtain continuing education credits.

Learn: Rhythm Pediatrics $75.00

Description: This self-directed, online course introduces healthcare providers to normal pediatric cardiac rhythms and prepares them to recognize basic pediatric cardiac arrhythmias in clinical practice. The course features audio, animation, interactive activities and self-assessment portions. No skills session is required to complete this course. Upon successful completion, students will receive a certificate of completion and will be eligible to apply for continuing education credits.  Intended Audience: This course is designed for healthcare professionals needing basic pediatric rhythm recognition skills, telemetry staff, Neonatal and Pediatric ICU personnel, ambulatory care  personnel and those preparing for PALS.

 

HeartCode PALS $300.00

Description: This web-based, self-directed program teaches healthcare providers knowledge and skills needed to recognize and prevent cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children. This program uses eSimulation technology to allow students to assess and treat patients in virtual healthcare settings. In this environment, students apply their knowledge to real-time decision-making and skills development. Intended Audience: Healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units such as physicians, nurses, paramedics and others who need a PALS course completion card for job or other requirements and are seeking an alternative (nonclassroom) method for completing an initial or update PALS course.

Classroom Courses

Unless otherwise specified all of courses take place at our training facility located at:

Due to limited seating, enrollment is required.Course manuals are required for classroom based courses, unless otherwise indicated. These can be purchased online or from HeartTraining, LLC. Students can also check-out a book from HeartTraining, LLC that they are responsible for and must return to our facility at the end of their scheduled class.


Company Policy regarding Refunds / Cancellations
No refunds for cancellations or no shows. Seats are limited in all our courses; therefore, no schedule changes are allowed within 14 days of the class to promote responsible attendance. Students who reschedule or withdraw within 14 days of course will incur course fees for the first class date and subsequent dates. Student is responsible for all charges if employer declines to cover student fees.
