Prerequisite for the American Heart Association Basic Life Support Instructor Course.
 
Applicants must submit a current American Heart Association HeartCode BLS Online Course Completion Certificate and a current BLS Instructor Essentials Online Course Completion Certificate to attend a BLS Instructor Candidate Screening.
 
Applicants must demonstrate exemplary performance of BLS provider skills on an adult and infant manikin. You will be tested during the screening. You must pass each skills test with no more than two attempts to be considered for the instructor program.
 
Must pass the BLS Provider Online Exam with a score of 84% or higher. Please bring a fully charged laptop to take the exam.
