Lori Ricke Lothamer, BSN, RN
OUR FOUNDER
HeartTraining was founded by Lori Ricke Lothamer, BSN, RN, a former emergency department nurse who has spent her career at the bedside during the moments that training is meant for. After years of seeing how much the right preparation matters in a real emergency, she set out to build a training center that takes that preparation seriously, and treats every student like someone who may one day need these skills for real.
Lori is an AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS instructor and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). She founded HeartTraining in 2006 and has grown it into an AHA Authorized Training Center serving healthcare professionals and lay responders across the Midwest. As a woman-owned business, HeartTraining reflects her standards: current AHA science, hands-on practice with instructor support, and a student services team that actually answers the phone.
