Heartsaver CPR AED Questions
What is the difference between CPR and AED training?
CPR is manual chest compressions and rescue breaths; an AED is the device that delivers a shock. Heartsaver CPR AED teaches both together. If you also need first aid, take Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED.
Does this course include first aid?
No. This course covers CPR and AED only. If you also need first aid, choose Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED.
Do I need any medical background?
No. Heartsaver courses are built for people with little or no medical training.
